Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, including ratio analysis and variance analysis.
- Expertise in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Australia, UK, or US.
- Familiarity with auditing standards and procedures.
- Experience working with IFRS or GAAP accounting standards.
- Understanding of cross-border transactions and their accounting implications.
- Knowledge of currency exchange rates and their impact on financial statements.
- Familiarity with international tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Prepare and file corporate and individual tax returns.
- Assist with audits conducted by external auditors.
- Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
